RED began a revolution in 2006 with the introduction of its 4K RED ONE digital cinema camera. Later, followed in 2008 when RED released the DSMC (Digital Stills and Motion Camera) system that saw RED cameras being used on features like "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2” and “The Hobbit” trilogy, as well as television series such as "Stranger Things" and “Peaky Blinders".
The DSMC2 series was used on many high-end features such as "Mank", which won 'Best Cinematography' at the Academy Awards in 2021, the critically acclaimed limited series "The Queen's Gambit" and the hugely popular series "Squid Game".
RED’s latest technology includes the highly advanced V-RAPTOR 8K VV, the first camera in the DSMC3 generation and the KOMODO 6K. The Komodo features a global shutter sensor in a shockingly small and versatile form factor. It has been used in countless high-end productions such as "The Matrix Resurrections", "The Suicide Squad" and "Red Notice".

CVP holds the largest collection of spare parts stock in Europe. Having readily available stock enables us to turnaround repairs and services quickly, ensuring the down time on your gear is minimal.
Same day repairs
Due to the volume of spare parts we carry, in most cases we will have your kit repaired, and back with you within the same day (when booked in advance and subject to the availability of spare parts).
