Super light and does exactly what it needs to do. I’m glad it has USB C too. Very happy with this product.

Wise CFexpress Card Reader knowledge hub
Real answers from CVP's technical team, based on the questions customers ask us.
I am trying to use this card reader with a Prograde 120GB CFexpress card that is formatted in my Nikon Z6 and records a NEF image without problem. But, the images cannot be read by the Wise CFexpress card reader witch is connected to my desktop computer through an Allegro USB-C PCIe adapter card that is attached to a PCIe expansion card slot on my Asus P8Z77-V LE motherboard. When I try to access the CFexpress card, I get a message that the card must be formatted and when I try to format the card, either quick or full format, a message appears that the formatting failed. I can't find any drivers for the card reader at the Wise site

Note the PCIe card may also require drivers so it may be acting in a minimal operating mode appearing to function to a degree but not giving you complete access.
