Price Pledge ensures we won't be beaten on price! We actively monitor the prices offered by our competitors daily and adjust our own pricing accordingly. We pledge to match the price on most products offered by UK based dealers that are selling officially imported or manufactured UK stock, with full manufacturer warranty and is authorised to do so by the relevant manufacturer.
Prior to the point of sale CVP will endeavour to match the price on most products subject (but not limited) to the following criteria:

At CVP we always strive to get your order to you as quickly as possible, but in the interest of clarity please note that next day is defined as the next working day (ie: excluding weekends, UK bank holidays and public holidays).
Orders placed and security cleared before 14:00GMT where all items are in stock will normally be dispatched on the same business day for ultimate delivery according to the shipping method selected.
Where an item is not physically in stock, the actual delivery time will be extended by the lead time for the product in question. Shipping to the Channel Islands, Northern Ireland, Republic of Ireland and some remote UK postcodes are not next day but 2 working days.
All transactions are subject to CVP security checks which are for our mutual protection against identity theft and fraud. In the event that additional checks are required you will be informed and dispatch time will be extended by the time taken to resolve any queries raised. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
*Due to unforseen circumstances, on some occasions same day dispatch may not be possible. In this event we will always do our utmost to keep you fully informed of any delay imposed.
Made for high resolution sensors, the Art range from Sigma aims to produce the image quality of a prime lens in a zoom model. Inspired by creative photography, the Art line is compatible with full frame 35mm DSLRs as well as those with smaller image sensors. These lenses also include the Optical Stabiliser (OS) function to suppress camera shake.
The 24-105mm A Series lens covers the most commonly used focal length range from wide angle to mid-telephoto. It has a constant maximum aperture of f/4 for consistency especially when zooming and also has a Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) for fast and quiet autofocusing.
With minimised aberrations, a rounded diaphragm and coatings to minimise flare, this lens represents a fantastic all-round standard zoom optic that is ideal for realising your creative ideas.
Please see specifications and features for full details.

Superior image quality
This is a lens that represents the concept of the “Art” line, and it meets the highest standard of Sigma's quality test. For those standard lenses with a high zoom ratio, they tend to show astigmatic aberration, field curvature, distortions and colour aberration. In order to compensate for these, various types of high-performance lenses, such as FLD, SLD and glass-moulded aspheric lenses including a double-sided aspheric lens, have been included into the optical system. In addition, it suppresses chromatic aberration very effectively at the telephoto-end, and achieves superior image quality throughout the zoom range. This lens overcomes low peripheral brightness that is common for those lenses with similar specifications. Also, the wide filter size of 82mm is beneficial for superior optical performance.
This lens incorporates an OS system which offers superior stabilisation, making it possible to compensate for camera shake even in macro range photography where a small blur can be easily identified.
The lens' wide zoom ring ensures convenient handling. Putting the zoom ring the the front allows the lens barrel to be more compact. The inner focusing system eliminates front lens rotation, enhancing the lens' stability and allowing use of Circular Polarising filters.
Designed to minimise flare and ghosting
Flare and ghosting were thoroughly measured and monitored from an early stage in development to establish an optical design which is resistant to strong incidental light such as backlight. The Super Multi-Layer Coating reduces flare and ghosting and provides sharp and high contrast images even in backlit conditions. Attaching the matched petal type hood, which is supplied, will provide extra protection from flare and ghosting.
Minimum focusing distance of 45cm
With a minimum focusing distance of 45cm and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:4.6, this lens is excellent for close-up photography.
Hyper Sonic Motor
The HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) ensures a silent, high-speed AF function. By optimising the AF algorithm a smoother AF is achieved. It also enables full-time manual focusing capability which allows sensible focus adjustment by simply rotating the focus ring.
Incorporating Rounded Diaphragm
The 9 blade rounded diaphragm creates an attractive round bokeh at large-aperture settings, in other words smoothness to out-of -focus areas.
Incorporates rubber for the attachment part of the provided lens hood. For better usability, the designs of the lens cap and AF/MF changeover switch have been improved and in order to ensure high accuracy of construction, all metallic parts and the new compound material, TSC (Thermally Stable Composite), which has a high affinity to metal parts, are housed internally. On the lens barrel, the last three digits of its release year are engraved so the lens can be identified according to the year of its launch.
Brass made bayonet mount
This lens incorporates a brass made bayonet mount which has both high accuracy and durability. A special treatment to reinforce its strength is applied to the surface giving it greater strength and making it highly resistant to long-term use.
Newly developed “USB DOCK” exclusively for new product lines (optional)
Sigma have developed special software (SIGMA Optimization Pro) that can update the lens firmware and adjust parameters such as focus.
