Flexibility in any Situation
EPIC-W 5K S35 allows users to easily switch between the GEMINI sensor’s Standard Mode during well-lit conditions or Low Light Mode for darker environments. Creatives are able to quickly adapt to any lighting environment with the touch of a button, giving them the ability to use more of the natural light available.
Superior Image Quality
Capture cinematic images regardless of the lighting condition by combining RED’s enhanced image processing pipeline with GEMINI’s dual sensitivity and incredible dynamic range. EPIC-W 5K S35 lets content creators dial in the perfect shot and is RED’s tallest S35 sensor option – allowing for greater anamorphic lens coverage.
NOTE: The EPIC-W BRAIN itself does not have a DC IN power port. A port expander or power module is required to power the camera. To construct a working configuration for any BRAIN, RED recommends an expander, battery, lens mount, display, and media.
NOTE: All EPIC-W BRAINs ship with a standard OLPF; an OLPF 2-pack is available for Skin Tone-Highlight and Low Light shooting environments.
NOTE: EPIC-W BRAINs are NOT compatible with 8K VV lens mounts.
