The Canon EOS 760D offers creative control and 24.2 Megapixel resolution in a compact digital SLR body. It has been designed with a bias towards easy control of more creative features and has creative effects for both still and Full HD movie recording.
The powerful DIGIC 6 image processor in combination with the sensitive CMOS sensor, means that ISO values can be set between 100 and 12,800 and modes such as Flicker Detection Technology, first applied to the much more expensive EOS 7D MkII can be utilised. In addition to high ISO sensitivity, lovers of action photography will enjoy the inclusion of 5 frames per second burst shooting. Of course, for creative enthusiasts there is Full Manual control over aperture and shutter speed.
Focusing accuracy is achieved using 19 cross-type AF points, the cross-type being the most accurate to give coverage across a wide field.
Full HD Movies can be recorded in MP4 format using Hybrid CMOS AF III focusing with the ability to track or swap focus. There is compatibility with STM lenses that offer near-silent and super smooth focusing, ideal when recording video footage. The EOS 760D also has HDR Movie Mode which gives both highlight and shadow detail in high contrast scenes. There is also the ability to mimic the blur effects of tilt-shift lenses when using the Miniature Effect creative filter.
Ergonomically the EOS 760D is easy to handle with its large grip and Vari-angle LCD which can be tilted while keeping the camera in position. In keeping with the creative control ethos the 760D has a Rear Quick Control Dial, top LCD panel and Intelligent Viewfinder.
The EOS 760D and 750D has Wi-Fi and NFC wireless connectivity for easy posting and sharing of images and video on social media and cloud services, and connectivity with the Canon Connect Station.

Customisable 19-point autofocus
The EOS 760D’s customisable 19-point autofocus system locks onto your subject when shooting sports, portraits or landscapes. Each focus point is a 'cross-type' meaning it can lock on to your subject quickly and accurately so you can achieve superb results whether you’re shooting sports, portraits or landscapes.
Fast processor for action
The fast DIGIC 6 processor means you can shoot at up to 5fps and never miss a decisive moment. A 7560 pixel metering sensor gives consistent and accurate exposures and Flicker Detection.
Flickering light, such as that produced by fluorescent light bulbs, can cause inconsistent brightness and colour while shooting. The EOS 760D can detect such conditions and time each shot to coincide with the peak brightness of the flickering light source, for consistent results.
Capture incredible detail
The 24.2MP sensor captures incredible detail so you can crop and enlarge images for printing, while the fast DIGIC 6 processor means you’ll never miss a decisive moment.
Shoot stunning Full HD movies with cinematic depth of field using the EOS 760D’s Hybrid CMOS AF III autofocus technology. It enables smooth focusing and subject tracking so your subject will look sharp and in focus while the background remains beautifully blurred. MP4 support allows easy upload and transfer of your movies.
Top LCD panel shows your settings to help you stay in control of your photography.
