Web Content Administrator - Job description

The Web Content Administrator will report to the Web Category Specialist and ultimately the Web Content Team Leader and will be responsible for a range of administrative and creative tasks associated with the accurate listing, representation, display and sale of products and services on


Responsibilities will mainly focus onassisting in listing, cataloguing and displaying content (product listings, price catalogues, images, descriptions etcon in a professional, brand relevant and timely manner. The role involves high volumes of Data Entry. More specifically, responsibilities will include;

1)      Accurately listing product lines and checking pricing. Using Excel to check, list and copying pricing.  Saving new and updated price catalogues in accordance with company process.  Communication of errors and inconsistencies with Team Leader.  Communicating accurate and up to date price lists with relevant CVP staff.

2)      Updating web pricing. Once familiar with product lines and pricing, the web content administrator will be responsible for helping with the regular updating of product, package and systems pricing on CVP’s website.  The Web Content Administrator will be responsible for checking that all updates have been completed and that the information displayed online is accurate and as intended reporting any discrepancies/errors to the Team Leaders.

3)      Updating and loading product/technical content. Sourcing, producing and uploading technical product data on to the website. Ensuring that product data remains accurate, relevant and up to date.  Checking existing product lines to ensure that data is current and accurate.  Reporting technical issues and errors/inconsistencies to Team Leader.

4)      Managing web product image libraries and content.  Working within the team to source, edit, display and manage web imagery.  Ensuring that web images are all of a suitable quality (e.g. high definition) and display all products in a relevant, interesting and professional way whilst maintaining CVP’s brand values.


Other Duties – as reasonably requested by the Web Content Team Leader

Desirable skills - Excellent literacy, numeracy and organisational skills are essential as is the ability to work as part of a team in a time pressured environment. Basic level abilities with Excel, Word (and Ms Office suite). Photoshop experience is an advantage - however training can be provided.

Evaluation Repair Engineer

Due to the continued expansion of our used and ex-demonstration equipment sales, we are looking to recruit an Evaluation Repair Engineer to work in our used and ex-demo support department.


This is a full time role which is ideally suited to a self-motivated, dynamic and conscientious team player with a passion for best practice in customer service, an interest in broadcast & video technologies and being a part of a progressive company. 


This is a full time role which will include responsibility for (this list may not be exhaustive):


Assisting in the engineering repair operations


  • Taking internal repair calls/emails
  • Covering internal sales communication channels, including;
    • Booking in repairs/equipment
    • Estimating costs/prices
    • Creating Purchase Orders to buy evaluated equipment
  • Logging activity on IT Systems and issuing returns numbers
  • Arrange courier collections where required
  • Helping with supplier repair returns
  • Maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing complex electronic, computer based, optical and mechanical broadcasting systems. Repairing and maintaining equipment in emergency and preventative situations.
  • Setting-up/configuring and operating various broadcasting equipment such as recording, video and editing equipment; checking equipment against specifications and tolerances for operational readiness; providing operational assistance/instruction to others as needed.
  • Testing and aligning new equipment prior to customer delivery and sign off.
  • Spot checking new equipment.


Assisting in the accurate upkeep of all used and ex-demo equipment


  • Taking 360 photos of used /demo and new products
  • Retesting stock prior to dispatch when required
  • Creating online evaluation forms for sales and web team
  • Testing Returned goods for restocking
  • Testing Demo equipment after return from demo

An opportunity has arisen for a E-commerce Specialist/Web Order Processor to join us at our Head Office in Studley, Warwickshire.


You’ll be an important part of our team, processing orders generated from our website (, contacting and dealing with suppliers and customers by telephone and e-mail and making sure that their experience of buying from CVP is a great one.


You'll help CVP to hit its customer charter by same day dispatching 'in stock' orders (and updating our systems to reflect all aspects of this) and by liaising with our suppliers to ascertain an accurate delivery schedule and advise the customer accordingly when items aren't in stock. You may be responsible for procuring stock and raising purchase orders as required to fulfil orders for out of stock items and for liaising with suppliers to check the progress of existing orders so that we can keep our customers fully informed. 


You’ll get involved in (this list isn’t exhaustive)


  • Responsibility for inputting orders/data into our systems
  • Dealing with incoming enquiries received by phone, email and website.
  • Keeping in contact with customers to inform them of the progress of their orders
  • Issuing credits
  • Liaising with the warehouse team to check stock availability and order progress
  • Liaising with suppliers to check item availability and lead times
  • Working closely with the sales team, suppliers, manufacturers’ and of course customers.  It’s a fast paced, energetic and driven environment most suited to self-motivated, outgoing and organised candidates.
