C100 EVF Recoil
The shoulder-mounted C100 EVF Recoil includes Zacuto's VCT Universal baseplate and an EVF Mount Bracket for Canon C100’s that attaches to the C100 or C100 Mk II camera handle to provide multiple secure accessory mounts. Our Grip Relocator positions camera control at a comfortable, convenient handgrip.
This is a Next Generation Recoil rig designed for optimal balance and comfort when shoulder mounted or on a tripod. With lenses and cameras being similar weights, the balance point is where the lens meets the camera body. In a Recoil rig, the balance point needs to be directly over your shoulder which puts the camera behind you. This requires focus, monitoring and camera controls to be relocated forward, creating a lighter and shorter rig.
The C100 EVF Recoil includes a "VCT Universal" – this baseplate has a built-in, curved shoulder pad, a v-wedge tripod connector (with ¼" 20 and " 16 screw option), removable, extendable 6.5” iris rods and rows of ¼” 20 screw holes along the sides for accessories. The recessed rod mount offers maximum accessory capable space under your camera lens.
"Zgrip Relocator" – this articulating handgrip incorporates our Grip Relocator for your Canon C100/300 removable control grip. It provides full articulation via lever and our exclusive right-angle cable connects to the port on your camera. Trigger on/off control, lens aperture control, waveform, 1:1 zoom, zebras and more.
"EVF Mount Bracket for C100’s" – This item attaches to the handle of your C100 or C100 Mk II camera with a ¼" 20 screw and provides multiple accessory attachment points. Along the top of the Bracket are two ¼” 20 screw holes alternating with two ” 16 screw holes and the Axis Mount provides a quick-release 15mm rod port for an Axis Mini or articulating arm.
The Axis Mini is the most adjustable ENG style mount for rosette mounted EVFs, giving you full 360º motion with four adjustment points. Designed to attach to the top of your camera set up, it leaves plenty of room at the lens for focusing and will work with the widest of lenses. It can easily be adjusted with one hand while the rig is on your shoulder. The Axis Mini has extensive articulation for use with a variety of cameras, both shoulder mounted in a Next Generation Recoil or in tripod operating position. It is very small and quick to install and remove.
The Axis Mini has three red tension levers that are controlled independently with 360 degree motion. Release all three levers to completely reposition the mount or release just one to make single segment adjustments. You can dial in the exact amount of tension needed at each lever to adjust on the fly. Just grab and move.
The Gratical HD Micro OLED electronic viewfinder uses an extremely powerful FPGA dual core processor and the latest Micro-OLED displays to provide a hugely expanded contrast range. Zacuto's Micro-OLED display supports high pixel density with unparalleled resolution, true blacks, gamma and contrast range. The Gratical HD has 5.4 million pixels on a 0.61” diagonal screen no bigger than the size of your thumbnail.
The Gratical HD includes two HDMI and two SDI ports with cross conversion from HDMI to SDI. Weather resistant covers prevent moisture or debris from getting in open ports.
You’ll be amazed with how sharp the image is. The internal field of view is just the right size so that the image is large, but not so that your eye has to roam to see the entire image at once. It features a built in -1 to +4 diopter range and Zacuto’s latest anti-fog coating formula. An auto-closing eyecup door prevents sunburn display automatically without any action by the operator.
Mount the Gratical HD to your Next Generation Recoil via the 1/4 20 rosette on the side with an Axis Mini. You can also mount the Gratical HD with the ¼ 20 screw hole in the bottom. Included is the LP-E6 style battery with charger and universal plug adapters.
