Reviews are generally favourable for CVP, so I gave them a try. The first order's delivery/stock info was incorrect on the website (which I found out after ordering). I called three times to clarify as emailed information was conflicting, but was then given different answers on each occasion! The item arrived late for what was described on the website at time of ordering.
I gave them the benefit of the doubt and tried them again, as the reps were friendly and understanding. The second order was labelled as 'In Stock' at time of order. A day later I was informed by email that it was not in stock at all, and that they were ordering from their supplier. This was unacceptable for me, as I had an imminent job for a client, so I asked them to get me a delivery estimate and/or cancel my order and refund immediately so I could reorder with another company.
They said a refund could take up to 3 days and 'that's how it is'.
Working in the broadcast industry, and providing services in it, accurate lead times, stock quantities, and delivery times are essential. I simply cannot trust the information on CVP's website anymore.
